Yoral is a mid-twenties male tiefling who is 5’9" and 160 lbs. He is a bard of some skill who lived in the House of the Blue Lanterns (Shadowfell). The Keepers of the Shadowfell were introduced to Yoral when they sought shelter from the denizens and dangers of the Shadowfell.
Yoral was last seen outside the Spires of Rejzak as the Keepers attempted to destroy a ritual book, meant to summon Orcus, found within the depths of the Keep on the Shadowfell (H1:Keep on the Shadowfell). Yoral had fallen from a spelljamming vessel during a battle and was rescued by an insane ship captain. The ship captain knew of the book the Keepers carried and promised to send Yoral to the prime material plane in exchange for the book.
Yoral returned to the party, much to their surprise, and explained that he had found a captain crazy enough to sail into the Spires of Rejzak. The Keepers agreed and upon arriving at the Spires, Darius threw the book toward the monstrosity, Rejzak, only to have it intercepted by the crazed captain who only then revealed his true identity, Graz’zt. Graz’zt disappeared with the book immediately, taking Yoral with him. The Keepers had to flee or be destroyed by Rejzak.
It was upon their return to the githzerai monastery that the Keepers learned that Yoral had knowingly allied with Graz’zt to recover the book in exchange for his freedom in the prime material plane. He betrayed the party due to their acceptance of his fate in falling from the ship. A fall that would’ve lasted an eternity in the abyss. Yoral’s whereabouts remain unknown.
